Renee Charney, President and Founder of Charney Coaching & Consulting LLC, has over 25 years of corporate experience in coaching, learning, leadership and organizational development. With her emphasis on developing emerging and established leaders and their teams, her expertise includes coaching and facilitating for individual and team growth, and leading initiatives that influence ongoing development and change.

Renee’s focus is in developing leadership presence so that her clients can form and engage in powerful conversations, make sustainable impact and achieve results.

Her professional and consulting experience spans industries such as financial services, telecommunications, defense, travel, and non-profit organizations, working with a variety of Fortune 500 companies including ADP, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Cendant, BAE Systems and Comcast.

Renee holds a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision with a concentration in Business and Organizational Development from Montclair State University. She earned a certificate in Leadership Coaching (ICF approved) from Georgetown University and is an ICF ACC credentialed coach.

Michael Charney

Michael Charney, Principal with Charney Coaching & Consulting LLC,has 30 years of corporate experience in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, High-Technology and Customer Service. For much of the last 15 years Michael has been a Senior Executive in high-technology start-up companies, running both Professional Services and Software Development groups.

Most recently he worked as a Vice-President for the ClearForest division of Thomson Reuters where he managed an international software development team and was accountable for the division’s succession management program. As an expert is small team development, Michael has created teams that emphasize empowerment, personal accountability, objective-centered behaviors and outcome-based evaluations.

Michael began his career in HR as a Technical Recruiter. Originally from California, he holds an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and a graduate degree from William Paterson University.
